Trillium Grandiflorum
Trillium is a protected flower and the time from seed to blossom is up to 10 years, with a lifespan of up to 25 years.

It is native to North America, with the most abundant growth being in Appalachia!

Trillium is one of the early flowers of the season, blooming from late March through early May.

Ants are attracted to a chemical in the seed pods, and are used to propagate the plants!
