Jewelweed
Impatiens Capensis
Jewelweed is native to North America and blooms all of summer.

The flowers and seeds are edible, but the seed pods pop when touched, sending them flying everywhere!

The seeds are a great addition to not just salads, but also oatmeals and yogurts and anything that could use a delightful topping that's also a superfood!

The sap from the flower can provide relief from poison ivy!
